I wouldn't go to Florida and not be on the ocean. No dolphins in the lakes. I liked kayaking on the Gulf. Pretty beaches.
But we've been going to different places in winter and haven't been to Florida since 2004.
Fair enough. I've seen dolphins in the St. Johns River in Jacksonville from my hotel room in the Hilton(?) there. They do come into the rivers quite often.
Obviously you haven't, or you didn't bother to actually look out the window. Florida is VERY diverse in terms of scenery, culture, and history. By the way, I doubt you have ever driven in Florida--perhaps ridden in a car...
Oh I agree. I was in Dundee and Luechars in late March a number of years ago and it was quite cold. They got sleet the one day. Even in the summer I still bring a warm sweater when visiting the UK.
Yesh, OK. That's I-4 down near Lakeland. Were you headed to Busch Gardens? You were 30 miles from the Clermont Hills at that point. Again, not all of Florida is flat. that's like saying all of England is flat.
We also drove upto the (rubbish) zoo up in Sanford, the scenery there was pretty much the same.
If Florida's highest elevation is 100 feet no way does it have hills.

Not sure where you are getting that number, it's wrong. Again you didn't go anywhere near Clermont to get to Sanford from Reunion. Give it up, you don't know what you are talking about, and it's become painfully obvious.
