Amsterdam used to have non-stop flights to Orlando and Miami until the mid-late 2000's, every time i want to go there now i must take a layover (Atlanta makes most sense).

Anyone know why they not fly non-stop from Amsterdam to Orlando and Miami anymore, can't say there is no demand because i know many people that would love to travel there.

Actually they don't all have the screens in the back of the seat. I can't recall who, but there are at least two that still show movies from shared screens with no options.

The meals don't only depend on the carrier but also the class of service.

If there was enough demand they would still have the routes.

No, I don't fly through London. Amsterdam instead of EWR is a better choice.
I would never go back on myself and why bother when i've got preclearance in Dublin with alot of choice..

I flew from Bangkok to Amsterdam once with China Airlines just 2 years ago, they didn't have tv's in the back of the seat, only had a couple normal sized tv's from the 90's hanging around after every 5 rows or so and only showing episodes of Laurel & Hardy and Mr.Bean
Probably the oldest plane i've ever been on.

I haven't seen one of those for years and we fly to the US every year.

Yes, it depends on the carrier. Occasionally I get a decent meal on Delta or Continental, but not usually. We fly economy or economy plus with them. We've got enough airmiles to upgrade on the way home on Delta this September, so I'll check out the meals.

Emirates has great meals even in economy. When we have enough airmiles to upgrade to business they serve meals like you'd order in a nice restaurant.

Yikes! My in-laws took Air China from Melbourne to London one year. Said it was a joke of an airline!

I should have said quality airlines have them on the back of the seat.

Emirates offers 300 movies and lots of games. All the free booze you want as well.
