I rarely use Orbitz, but I know that others do, so I thought this information would be valuable to some.

I always book directly with the airline but I know many many people use Orbiz, Expedia etc

I use Orbitz to do a quick fair compare. I then go to the airlines website to do the actual booking. There is usually no difference in price. I guess I'll use the Google compare tool a little more.

Me too, but the first time I flew I booked through CheapOAir without any problems.

@Mandalorian I'll second that. American Airlines was one of the worst inventions by human beings. I'd rather fly Southwest because at least they give you the free seating option!

Shoot, and I want to say something stronger, I wonder what AA and US AIR will do next? The bad part, our younger daughter works for them. Of course if they are doing this, probably other lines might start something similar. I never did find Orzitz rates any cheaper though.

now for you who hate American, I really don't see much difference in any of the airlines anymore. they all pretty much suck.
