@OP, I know Montana very well. I lived in Great Falls for a short time. I miss it to this day. I also traveled frequently to the larger towns in Wyoming (there aren't many). I keep two homes in AK and TX, but I spend too much time in TX. I can't wait to leave here for good. Way too hot and muggy for my taste. We go to Virginia, New Mexico, South Carolina, and other areas of TX a lot.

I'm English living in Michigan USA, I've lived all over the place including Singapore and Alaska. Love to travel whether it be road trips (Sturgis and SD this summer) or flying to other countries, usually UK and Europe. Luckily DH loves to travel too, right now the only thing holding us back is lack of vacation time, waiting for DH to retire so we can get out there and see it all !

We've been travelling almost nonstop since retirement and the trips are often a month or longer. Just spent a month in Michigan visiting my family. Heading to Thailand this winter for two months.

I grew up in Kansas, and still live in Kansas City. I prefer to travel to mountainous or coastal locations because we have neither.

Born & raised in Detroit, and got job transferred to NYC in '74, and never looked back.
Travelled half the world in my career, worked hard/got lucky and bailed in 2000 at 52.

Moved to the mountains of western NC in Sept 2001...

Have driven cars and/or ridden one of my m'cycles through all 50 states and many provinces of CDA.
We travel when we feel like it, though some trips take some energy, which is slightly fading here in our late 60s.

WY is one of my fave western Mtn states.
