My last road trip in August from Alaska was to...

We drove down through The Yukon and British Columbia. On the return trip we drove up through Saskatchewan, Alberta, BC, and of course the Yukon.

I've been in 47. Only missing Alaska, Hawaii, and Delaware. Spent more than a week in most of them, some of them months, others years. When I was single, I would get a wild hair and just go whenever I had some time. Somedays it was short trips, other times I would head out not knowing where I was going to end up. Left Maine one day and three days later I was laying on a beach in L.A.

The only big state I haven't been to is Ohio. Haven't been to the deep south, alabama, mississippi. Haven't been to some of the midwestern states, kansas, s dakota, n dakota, nebraska. And alaska, hi.
Favorite places...
The northeast is gorgeous. Vermont is gorgeous, probably the cleanest state I've been to.
Florida has become a yearly tradition of sorts, orlando.
Saw 4 corners (utah, n mexico, arizona, colorado) as a kid. Haven't been to those states since the 80's, would like to go back. Esp colorado.
Texas, would like to get back to. Havent been since 1990.
New York would like to get back to. Alot more to see in NYC.
Chicago alot more to see.
DC would like to see more of.
Philadelphia would like to get back to.
