No not really. There are more serious things in life rather than if my plane is delayed, hotel overbooked, etc. Annoying and frustrating sure, but when life gives you lemon make lemonade.

I hate big hotels with thin walls (even at luxury resorts) I can hear other guests through (so over hearing other people having sex)...

I spent a huge part of my life traveling and I am over it.

I would rather create a life I don't have to run away from.

And I have 2 places I do love being at...worth the nightmare of travel.
How can I neglect to mention the never-ending plane rides? I was super uncomfortable on my last trip. I start getting antsy after a while.

My FIL used to have a G2.
Drive up to the plane, some guy gets your luggage while some other guy parks your car.
Some other person serves you food and booze while you sit in a recliner or on a couch.
Reverse process once you get to destination.

You will always hate the cattle call bus ride in the sky after a couple of trips like that.

I've had some stressful situations when travelling (arriving in Thailand by myself at midnight, exhausted, only to find out the hotel didn't have a record of my reservation, for example, or getting really lost in the outskirts of Istanbul and realizing I was walking alone along a highway in the dark).

But otherwise no, I don't find travel or planning travel stressful. It's one of my passions, so I enjoy it. I don't plan every detail and some of my most rewarding trips have been when I arrive in a country without reservations or a firm plan and just go with the flow.

I don't find travel very stressful. I actually don't mind it much at all.

I see why people don't like it, with crowded planes, missing connections, lines, unfamiliar surroundings and whatnot, but for some reason none of that has never bothered me. Sometimes I think I'd love that job George Clooney had in Up In The Air, just flying around to different places every week.

I get much more stressed out thinking I'm going to be stuck in the same place for too long.

I fly nearly every week, sometimes, every day of the week, often international (10+ hrs) Including Malaysia Air and Air Asia

Not a problem for me, I don't get bored, or lack something to do. I have lots to think about / design / plan.

I drive over-the-road trucks too, Often through WY or KS all night. I have never needed a radio to keep me company in the last 40+ yrs. On a 10+ hr flight I do enjoy my old fashioned iPod / books / lectures.

I sleep on short flights.. often from before take-off until landing.
