My family is looking for ideas/spots to get our family together later this year .We're looking for 15-20 people ,pets and would love to find plenty of stuff for kids to do ..cabin or lodge on water might be nice ,can be in any state in midwest or south folks .....any suggestions would be appreciated

Arkansas,KY TN, Ohio would be first choices

Plenty of cabins that are pet and kid friendly in the Smoky Mountains of TN. Suggest you try to find a few in the same general area rather than one that will take all as most owners are going to limit the number of pets per rental. Look on vrbo.com

Great suggestion, you will also have Dollyworld close In Pigeon Forge for the kiddies.

In Ohio I'd suggest the Sandusky area or Hocking Hills.

I'd definitely go with LBL over Reelfoot since the swimming and watersports options are better and there are more things to do on the peninsula. You can do a day trip from there to Reelfoot if you want to go visit a nice swamp.
