ITA Matrix agrees this is the best price and I also agree this is pretty reasonable.

It's generally best to book directly with United rather than through a travel agent because then you can work directly with United if there's some sort of mechanical or weather issue causing problems with the flight rather than having a chance that United would tell you to talk to your travel agent and have them rebook you as needed.

If you're willing to fly (almost) anytime and with up to 2 (i think) stops and on any airline, then you can try Priceline's name your own price and Hotwire's Hot Rates. Those are generally only worthwhile when it's a last minute deal.

If you can't do better, you'll probably just want to grab the best price found on ITA that has already been recommended.

It is all about supply and demand. You are in the "demand season" so I don't think you will find any deals.
