I am looking for some suggestions for a family-friendly all-inclusive 4+ star resort near the Cancun / Riviera Maya area.

We stayed at Sandos Caracol resort last year, and the kids really liked it. There are a lot of AI resorts along the coastline, but we are hoping to find a place that has lush vegetation, trees, and greenery inside the resort. Some of the newer resorts seem to be only concrete buildings, and swimming pools.

The Sandos resort was nice because it had a small cenote inside that we could snorkel in, trees and plants bordering most of the walkways, animals like iguanas, a couple of donkeys, macaws, lots of raccoons, turtles etc - the kids really enjoyed interacting with these animals daily.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks much!
