I'd like to go to England for ten months to study something. The typical student visa wont work, as the school is not a Tier 4 school so not on the approved list of schools yet.

So I thought a long term visitor visa might do the job, but am worried I may get the visa but be breaking some rules if I attend my classes.

My request for clarification on the UK Visa website was answered by a link back to the website--so completely useless feedback there.

Are there agencies which assist with this stuff?
I have called the Consulates in both Boston and DC, and both have recordings which say to go to the website.

How do I find an actual person to guide me through the process?

You might get more replies on the "Legal Immigration" forum even though you just want to study in the UK.
