Anything we absolutely, positively must stop and see? Or eat?

Three to several days to amble along the route, or a two day drive, door to door?

It's eleven hours door to door. We might make it a 2-3 day drive if there's something worth seeing along the way?

Driving through both Carolina's and Georgia and you can't think of anything you want to see or do? Do you golf? Do you surf? Do you want to see the Outer Banks and Kitty Hawk? New Bern? Lake Marion? The Okefenokee? Get out a road atlas and study it. And if nothing appeals to you just bomb on down to Cape Coral and say hi to the pythons.

We do 'down and back north' a few times a year, so I understand the urge to 'get there', and it often becomes just getting there.

Otoh, Charleston, Savannah, Jekyll Island, St Simons Island, JAX downtown on a Sat or Sunday, Dade City historical downtown, Sarasota downtown, Venice downtown, and lots of hideaway/cool spots in all of the above...

The Pt A to Pt B runs often preclude what could be a couple days, (or weeks), seeing different places.
We often get caught up in a straight line drive, but sometimes we say, "who cares, let's see stuff, we have no place to be at any certain time or day or week".
