As others have stated, you won't have any trouble. Just obey the traffic laws and comply with police commands if stopped (as you should do anytime/anywhere you may be pulled over). Don't listen to people who have backward, ill and preconceived notions of the South today.

You might get pulled over but I don't believe you will have any problems. I've done a lot of driving in that area as a white driver with black passengers and have been pulled over on numerous occasions solely for that reason.

IF you get pulled over for something, just be polite and respectful and you won't have any troubles. Give the police a smarta$$ attitude, and you'll have trouble whether you're white, black, brown, yellow, blue or green.
