Book early and pay a bit more if you have to. Waiting for the lowest price could be a mistake.

We have been planning a trip to the Carribean for months now and I have been scouting out airfare. We are also going during the Thanksgiving week. I haven't seen any big deals and if anything prices seem to be rising. That is one of the busiest weeks out of the year. Book sooner rather than later! Good luck.

Should I wait a while?
Too far out (in my experience) to get the best rate. Try every day for one week and you will probably beat it. It would be helpful if you post the origin and destination because it makes a difference for fares. But all things being equal, if $100 is the difference, you won't go too wrong buying now, especially in first.

THE busiest air travel time of the year, at least in the US.

Flights are often booked by July.
