As I am in Hong Kong right now I am already planning for my next year vacation. Here are some great airfares from Emirates. Pick IAH from the drop down.

I don't see that these fares are better than anything that you can get from the various travel search websites.

^True, but at least it's on Emirates, one of the nicest airlines in the world. That perhaps counts for something.

We flew Emirates in nov 2015 for a total of 4 long flights (Boston - Dubai - Capetown round trip) in coach.

The service was excellent, and the on flight entertainment system was amazing. The food was as bad as any other airline (except Korean Airlines, who has great food if you stick with the Korean dishes).

In most of their long haul plabes, Emerites put in 10 seats across while most other airlines only have 9 seats across. This makes for some pretty tight seating if you have larger size hips. However, they have fewer rows of seats which gives everyone a few extra inches of legroom. You can see the specifics of this on seatguru.com

Emerites also suffers at Dubai airport where there are more flughts than the terminals can accommodate. Planes cannot be loaded from the jetways. Passengers take a long bus ride (no seats) to an outdoor area, then have to climb up those stairs to get on and off the plane. We travel with ONLY carryon luggage (until we are returning home), so this deal with the stairs was a huge PITA. None of the flight attendants helped, but other passengers did (we're seniors).

So, overall, if in coach, we didn't find Emerites to be so much better than any other airline. We were just as hapoy with Delta on international flughts.

How interesting. Spam from a poster with 2206 posts under his/her belt. I've never seen that before
