Why does China and Europe not have more times zones?

Both only seem to have one for such a huge area. Even the USA has four, and Hawaii gets its own. But Hawaii and Alaska should have the same one.

China and Europe could at least get two each. Also most of Asia seems weird in terms of time zone placement.

Can anyone explain?

Europe has 2 time zones as the UK has a one hour difference than the rest of Europe.

3 time zones. Greece is GMT + 2

China wants the whole country on the same time as Beijing.

Portugal is at the same time zone as the UK.

Much of it is. Romania is in the same time zone as Greece.
