Nope. I've fallen and I can't get up! (Which I kinda think the OP did prior to her first post, landing on her head.)

That's why the message, this thread, is past tense. It is sent when I arrive. It is not a schedule of this great trip I am going to be taking.

Now, if the friends interpreted as such, we-ll...............................

I've been thinking the same thing. Seeing the thread title "Get out a last signal....that we've landed!" sitting in the Active Forums column on the right side of my screen is pretty distracting as well. I've been trying to figure out the title meaning all day, and finally relented and clicked the title.

I'm still confused lol

Glad to see everyone else is ok. I've arrived back at the thread...

I really don't see the confusion seeing how the thread is about letting others know when one gets home from a trip.

However, the thread title is a paraphrase from 1968's Planet of the Apes when the space craft, informally known as Icarus, is sinking.

Well, I took the title thread to be referring to an alien spaceship that you were piloting. I kinda still think that

Because what is the point? There is none.

I have road warrior friends who check in on Facebook at every airport.

I'll post a photo on Facebook before the flight takes off if I have a particularly good first class seat or if I'm jammed into a completely full cattle car. I figure nobody particularly cares if I'm doing yet-another routine domestic flight.
