That's like asking what is the best dish in the world. Everyone is going to have their opinion and your personal experiences are going to influence your answer. For example the Cayman Islands are a popular destination but it is the last place I would choose because I have family there so that would not be the ideal place to have alone time with my spouse. And because I spent most vacations in Cayman as a child and grew up in Miami, beach vacations aren't that appealing to me. For others a beach vacation is their ultimate goal.

If you need suggestions they it would help to know what type of trips you would enjoy and then people could suggest both popular and off the beaten path options.

The bedroom in the house that you purchased using the vacation and wedding fund for a down payment. MUCH better use of the funds.

I think this is one of the best, most exotic places you could visit for a honeymoon. Some day I'll go there.

depends...

the first week in Mtn Cabin worked for us, tho we also took a one month EVERYWHERE trip. (that was a waste... future trips were much more enjoyable)

Santorini is NICE too! (just got there 40+ yrs later)

I will bet, somewhere in Greece, there is the equivalent of a Santorini 'cabin in the mtns / overlooking the sea'

that just might be BEST!

Yes... Buy the ONE-WAY fare. !

life is short!... Honeymoon forever, +++

Mother-in-law can buy your route home (if she ever finds you)
