No bars, no stores, no resorts, no restaurants, no houses, nothing. Not even a jetty. Just the purest white sands you have ever seen.
This doesn't sound good to me. I like having places to buy beer, eat lunch, sleep, etc. nearby.

Yep I've been to a lot of damn beaches and have never seen/felt anything like the sand at Siesta Key.
The best beach I've been to is probably western side of Boracay in The Philippines, with caveat there isn't much for waves if that's your thing. Perfect combination of clean blue water, soft sand, good vibe, and cheapo.

What is the most beautiful beach you have even been to?
What made it so amazing? Was it the white sands? The clear or perfectly blue waters?
Most beautiful (and remote) beach I've been to was on the absolute fringe of civilization on the NE Shore of Great Inagua, in the SE Bahamas, about 90 miles NW of Haiti.
This beach is 65 miles from the nearest permanent settlement, and the only way to get there other than by boat, is a 55 mile (5 hour!) drive on a very rocky and rough road, followed by an 11 mile trek on foot! You MIGHT see one other person here once a year---if that!
This beach is so remote that there are NO known photos of it anywhere online, other than these that I've taken!
From the Atlantic to the Pacific to the Caribbean to the Adriatic, Aegean and Mediterranean, I've been to many of the beaches people have already mentioned. Some were beaches where you walk and walk and see only the occasional bald eagle or dolphin, others were packed with people and/or amenities.
I don't think I could ever pick one sole favorite, but I've really enjoyed Cumberland Island, Georgia. You can only get there by boat or ferry, from where I live, it doesn't take very long. Deer, wild horses, and lots of space with very few other people. Lots of history, too.
Another favorite: Ericeira, Portugal. Just a 30 minute ride from Lisbon, with dramatic views and gorgeous water.

Oh yeah Portugal has some pretty beaches. A long way from the buzz of Brussels and Paris, but if you actually go there, it's quiet, and the water is crystal clear. At least it was 25 years ago.
Grote Knip in Curaçao. The clearest turquoise water I've ever seen, and not busy; often uninhabited.
And Papohaku on Molokai, three miles of beach on the west shore. Wife and I were there for a day, in several hours saw a total of two people, each other.
However my son whom served years in the Navy, went all over the earth in the literal sense of the term, Indian Ocean, Atlantic , Pacific ; nearly to all regions including Australia and a two year stint out of Hawaii says emphatically that St. John is the most beautiful of all. Water is so clear that you can see forty feet down into the sea and see the floor.
