I have never gotten sick; however, the last time I rode the cup 'n' saucer I was surprised at how queasy my stomach got. It does not help that my stomach valve is always agape, so barfing could come easily.
Rollercoasters still Do not bother me. In fact, I'm in my 60's and still ride the old wooden rollercoaster whenever I'm in Santa Cruz. Unless my gut gets sensitive to that one, too, I'll probably ride it in my 80's.
But I NEVER liked being upside down in any ride, and I imagine that I could regurgitate in one of those now.
yes : sick, scared to death and teary. Last time I rode one of those stupid rides (to please friends) I swore I wouldn't do it again. That was about 30 years ago, so I guess I held my word.
No. I did get "whiplash" on a ferris wheel with the closed spinning cage seats. Gah. I was 18. Haven't done any similar crazy rides since that experience.
Yep, Faster and higher the ride the better. Makes me laugh thinking about it even now. Folks running and screaming in the dark below. Once I got it out of my system I was fine and would walk out normal and look around nonchalant. People hardly ever new who's carnival food they were wearing. Guess it a good thing I got old and stopped such foolishness.
The king Cat is Over a half a century old.
I have always loved roller coasters. When I was younger, I would dream of planning vacations around amusement parks. (Of course it was a dream, because my parents hated travel and especially amusement parks) But when I left home (and never looked back) I went out of my way to visit some of the best places I could just for a thrill ride.
I have been all over, been on so many rides I cannot count them all.
All was well, until this happened a few years ago. I was with my brother, a fellow thrill ride enthusiast, who, oddly enough, had the same dysfunctional parents that I did.
Since then, the list has grown. Star Tours. Space. Space Mountain. Kumba, Cheetah Hunt All off the list (I can still do Thunder Mountain and Shiekra)
And of those, SPACE at Epcot is worse than Montu. Any Ride that hands out AIRSICKNESS BAGS has to be taken with caution.
Which is Why I want to go to OHIO this summer before I get any worse(older) and unable to ride the roller coasters there. If we do, I plan to wear a patch like what I wear on the cruise ship, so I can get everything in at Sandusky without "puking my guts out"
A few years ago i went on two rides with co workers for the hospital annual Wildwood Picnic free rides with the band. One was this thing that you stand up and it spins you around and the second one was a roller coaster. I had a bad headache i was dizzy and felt nauseous. I stopped going on rides unless they are simple rides. I discovered this year that i have motion sickness now i have to take the pills when someone else is driving.
I get sick looking at them. Seriously. One year we took elementary school children to the Space Museum in Alamogordo, NM. First problem for me was the glass-enclosed spiral stairway/walkway up to a higher floor of the building. 1/3 of the way I was crawling up. Then we get to the iMax theatre and the feature is SPEED. OMG. The film showed all kinds of speed vehicles, including amusement park rides. I sat through a lot of it, but when the roller coaster was shown I became more than a little nauseated and quickly made my way to the back of the theatre. I get that way when I see a roller coaster or am in any high place when I am on terra firms, either in a car or standing. I have no problem with travel by air, go figure. Love airplanes, in fact. Just the sight or sound of them overhead and I am a happy camper.
Mission to Mars at Epcot ( I think it was referred to above as Space). My spouse and one son got off and immediately went back online to do it again, while I and my other son laid on benches for almost 2 hours afterwards.

Thanks. You are correct, it is now called. "Mission to Mars". I think I referred. To it as space because it is in the space pavilion.
They have a low impact version but even that one bothers me. My teenage boys and wife always do the full immersion line.
According to wiki. Several people have been carted off to the hospital after riding. Two died.
I cannot figure out how to post the link because iam on the fire tablet. At the moment
