There are jobs that require travel--cruise lines, flight attendant, certain sales jobs.

Just be careful what you pick. I once took an auditing gig to travel, but it turned out I wasn't traveling to interesting places most of the time. I got really sick of it.
It sucks to work on cruise lines.

I would rather work for a National Park.

Grow up.

Set some concrete, realistic goals for yourself.

Find a career path that lets you meet your goals.

Get busy doing what it takes to get into that career.

Also, I might add. Have you considered going to school overseas somewhere like Germany.

Room and board is covered as is food and it looks good on your resume.
It STILL costs money. Quite a lot, from my quick perusal.

Great advice, I've heard that they only charge a very small fee. Maybe OP can actually save by going to college in Germany.

Mainlanders who move to HI are said to become "rock happy".

Join the Navy, I went half way around the world during the 2 years I was in.

My first thought when I read your post is that you can't always have what you want. Somethings in life you have to earn. One of the first CEO's of my Company said, "work hard, play hard". It is a pretty simple way to live. I travel a lot for pleasure. I work hard, play hard. I did find a job that gives me the freedom to fly and the freedom to rearrange my schedule so I can take extra time off and work extra when I went to take a trip. The work hard part has to come first. I do have a co-worker that has a Sugar Daddy--so I guess you could go that route too if you so desire

Go. Do. See.
Don't wait for anyone else to go along to do the things you want to.

Be willing to work some ... you can go almost anywhere.

Why have you decided against a working holiday? You're young enough to be eligible for the visas, no ties, happy to live over the pub you're working in and spend all your earnings on beer and travel. Why would you not do this now? Just because you spend a couple of years being footloose doesn't mean you're going to do it for the rest of your life.

I won't ever understand why Americans think it's a good thing to go from full time school to full time tertiary study to full time work.
