You have to be careful with the intricacies, as other people have pointed out. For example, if you wanted to hit beaches in the Andaman Sea in Myanmar, then May-October is Monsoon. Skip over to Thailand, and beach on the gulf side, the wet season is entirely different, arriving in the fall months.

It depends on the country and the city and the activity. Do not be led astray by generalizations.

Going to Paris in summer means that many restaurants and other establishments are closed. Madrid is dead in the summer as well. There will be tourists but you do not fully enjoy the city, in my opinion.

I think that you should either pick a city and research that city or see when you have your vacation time and find out where is going to meet your demands at that time.

Asia is vast so we will need more details to comment on Asia.
