Singapore and Japan are the safest in Asia and probably the entire world.

Scandinavian countries and other European destinations are rapidly deteriorating due to immigrants who seem to not care that it's against the law to rape and pillage. It's getting really bad in many German and French metros.

Italy still remains fairly safe. Pickpockets abound but it's very rare for any type of physical assault to happen.

Israel is very safe.

Crete, Sardinia, Corsica and Malta were all very safe. It's been a decade since I have need to some of them though.

There is going to be pockets of safety in nearly any country.

Corsica, well, at least is not safe for everyone at any time. I love that island and I have been there 18 times. I knew from several houses that were blewn up by the FLNC. Some day, in our garage after coming back for the summer we had some foreign motorcycles that were used in a kind of robbery, weird situation. However, physically, nothing ever happened. People used to get people out of the houses before they blow em up.

Very safe place is South Korea. Everybody leaves his belongings on the table in restaurants, cafes etc. sometimes even while going out for smoking or to the restroom. I have never seen any country with that sense for well-behaviour where crime is regarded as something useless that nobody would do.
