We have always avoided that week due the crowds and costs. Now that our kids are progressing deeper into elementary school we are trying to pull them from school less. I just looked into travel to the Caribbean over that week. Flights for a family of 4 (in coach) are $8,500 that week vs $2,300 the previous week. I'm not even bothering to check the accommodations. Uhhh...we'll continue to work ahead them so we can pull them from school. That's crazy. How do people do it?
