How does it compare to say Colorado, Tahoe or WY?

I'm wondering if it is light and fluffy or wetter and heavier.

your options are pretty similar (usually dry, mid season, potential to be a bit wet in Spring and fall)

Swiss (away from Atlantic Ocean influence) is usually similar to CO and WY, Tahoe can still be dry snow compared to Western WA, OR, or BC (Pacific Ocean influence)

NE USA can be wet and heavy snow too (Lake effect, higher temps than Mtn states, and high humidity)
