US airlines also offer free booze on long-haul flights, at least for meal service. I did not find Emirates economy class so much better than other airlines, especially their 777 in 10-abreast seating is very uncomfortable. The A380 however is very comfortable in economy, and their bar for business class is awesome. Especially as you can walk around a bit, have a drink, sit on the sofa a bit, the flight doesn't feel so boring and uncomfortable. Korean Air even has a little duty free shop in board their A380s.

However, usually economy class passengers are not allowed to enter business/first class cabin. It's not without a reason that people there pay a lot of money for privacy, comfort and less hassle, without people running around the cabin and queueing for the restrooms.

I hope to one day travel in their business class or first class cabins but it would have to be upgrade cause those seats can over $12K one way.

In response to Patrolman, I was talking about First Class. Also attached links are related to First Class...

The term is confusing, because what is sold as "first class" in America is usually considered as rather business class worldwide, while first class being the extraordinary luxurious product that actually more and more airlines are dropping because it doesn't make enough money.

I only flew on REAL first class twice. That was Korean Air and British Airways. It was really good, but I am not sure if I would pay the full price for it.

The middle eastern carriers are indeed pushing the standards of First class higher with their suite-room service (Etihad).

At least on Delta, you can still get free alcohol in the main cabin if you fly Comfort+.

I travelled few times with AirFrance and SwissAir business class and even there it was a quite experience.

Domestic (US) First Class remained feeling like it was stuck in the 1970s, when First Class meant a wide seat that reclined more than the ones in the back.
It still exists domestically, but only on premium routes like SFO/LAX <-> JFK/BOS... Although to be fair, they don't always call it First Class, but give it a unique name like "Delta One" or "Mint".

Not many airlines have a physical bar anymore - the mini-lounge and all that. It used to be on 747's the 2nd floor used to be a lounge, until airlines figured out they can make more money by just stuffing them with seats, still first class, but seats nevertheless. The "bar" is simply you ringing the call switch or waiting for a flight attendant to come over and order a drink that they make in there flight attendant cubicle and you drink in your seat.

A few still have the old style bar I guess - Emirates, a few others.

Theoretically beer and wine are available free of charge on coach class for most airlines flying on international trips. In reality you are lucky to see your flight attendant only when it's meal time, forget about getting drinks in between.

And...don't even think of sneaking into first and grabbing a seat when you are in the back unless you like doing the public "walk of shame" back to your real seat.
