I can only speak of those that I have been too.... Lousville, KY, Little Rock, AR, Memphis, NT, San Antonio, TX. I'm sure some here have said Nashville. I've been there and while people there were really friendly, I just didn't really have many things to do there that interested me. I've been to Austin many times. Even tough so many are transplants, many don't like "outsiders". I actually met the rudest people when traveling when in Austin. Never had that issue anywhere else in TX. While I haven't been to these places, I imagine that they are very pleasant- Savannah and Charleston (have always wanted to do a trip of the 2 but just haven't) and Tampa. My mom had to fly to Tampa to see a medical specialist a few times. She was surprised with how much she liked Tampa. She said there was a lot to do, was pretty, and friendly people. I've actually wanted to check out Tampa too.
