Look at the map.
Nashville, Lake Lure, Branson, Durango, and Myrtle Beach at Westwinds are some favorites.
Duck, North Carolina on the Outer Banks and Hilton Head, S. C. are good places.
We also enjoyed Ventura, California where we went on a boat to the Channel Islands.
I forgot Lake Tahoe last October. That trip was great. We drove from North Carolina mostly on I-80, which we had never been on before. Took us four whole days and two half days, the day we left and the day we got there. Came out to five times 530 miles.
