I usually just install it when I'm about to fly and uninstall after the trip.

I have a folder of travel apps. Southwest, United, American, Delta, JetBlue, SeatGuru, GateGuru, my company's travel dashboard app, a numberr of hotel apps, etc.

But I'm a fairly frequent traveler, and I have enough storage space on my phone. So it makes more sense to just leave them installed.

I always have the Delta app on my phone, especially since I usually have a couple of trips scheduled and upgrades pending. When I fly, my elite credentials and drink vouchers are also on the app, and the baggage tracking feature is nice.

No. I already have too many apps on my phone. I just do the thing online where they text you about delays or anything.

Yes, though I could see deleting it after if storage is an issue. I have all my documents printed beforehand, but it is nice to have the option of an e-boarding pass along with the gate data on the app. I had a situation a couple of years ago where I was not able to print a boarding pass before the trip and the line at the check in was atrocious with no self-check in kiosks available. Having the app saved me 45 minutes at least.

I have AA, Alaska, Virgin, and Jetblue, for myself, on my phone. I keep Delta, since my current man friend like to fly that, as well.

Both airlines and hotel chains I patronize. I've got a lot of storage space on my phone, so why not?

I have AA and Delta.. I am a "travel hacker" and accumulate a lot of miles, so, I use them to keep tabs on them.

Sometimes I use the airline's website from my smartphone but I don't really have memory space to install many apps on my phone (and therefore wouldn't consider installing an airline app).
