A lot of people bear irrational ill will for hunters. Be careful what you publish on line. CBS Sunday Morning was talking about haters attacking hunters online.

Two favorites:
Carnival out of NYC to Canada for the last cruise of the season. Cool weather and few tourists, no kids!

Skiing around Salt Lake City. We have stayed in Park City, a condo in Sandy, a motel in SLC, and in the resort at Snowbird. There are dozens of great ski areas within a few miles of the city. Best run was down the downhill course at Snow Basin.
The top ski areas are within an hour's drive of the airport and the resort altitudes are lower than Colorado.

Best vacation ever? Hmmm It's hard to choose just one.

Scotland, Australia, and Belize. The three best ever.

That's why the Ecuadorean Government limits the amount of cruise ships and people to the islands, it's pretty highly regulated operation. I've never been, but know people who have and loved their trip and experience. I have heard some of the tour guides do get kind of bored since with some of the locations and sites they see the same specific animal like clockwork week after week after week.

I did a month long holiday to New Zealand in November of 2012, started on the North Island and Auckland and worked my way south to the bottom of the south island, it was pretty epic, did a lot of day hikes and took the scenic train when I could.

So hard to pick......

I'll go with top 3:

1. Italy - feel in love with food and culture and everything. We did Rome, Lucca and Cinque Terre.
2. Hawaii - OK, so this might be cheating since we've done Hawaii five times and are going back a sixth time in December. My two favorite islands are Kauai and the Big Island. Not an Oahu fan.
3. Australia - This is probably my favorite but it could be because we went last month. But it was amazing. We did Sydney and Far North Queensland (Port Douglas, Cape Tribulation, Trinity Beach). LOVED Australia.

Vegas and San Diego were very nice, Sedona and Scottsdale, AZ are gorgeous, a 7 day Caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean was great, too.

Probably skiing at Purgatory in Colorado 18 years ago, before it was crazy.

Went during the week for four full days of skiing. Went alone, no one to look back and wait for.
Perfection.

Italy (twice) and Peru are tied as far as destinations. I'd like to go back to Peru and see more. Many vacations stand out in my memory because of the people I travelled with rather than the destination.

Alaska was hands down the best vacation I've ever been on. I'd say Belize was a distant second.
