I wouldn't add her to your credit card. That makes YOU ultimately responsible for anything SHE charges. She could screw up your credit.

She's an adult. She needs a credit card of her own.

Make sure she is ABLE to check in at 19.

Many hotels require the main guest to be 25+.

The hotels I managed in Myrtle Beach would not have allowed a 19 year old to check in.

All hotels ask for ID.

Another reason to call the hotel directly to confirm this and credit card issue.

I would STRONGLY advise against adding your daughter to your C. C! Have HER call the hotel and see if she can use her debit card. Most hotels accept them.

get her a credit card- I still have the card I got when I was 18, if you don't trust her with a credit card she shouldn't travel by herself, anyway most hotels don't want teenagers you're likely going to have to reserve it yourself in your name, when I was 18 or 19 I drove to miami fl without thinking of where to stop when I tried to get a hotel on the way 2 hotels wouldn't let me stay the night even with my credit card, mad father had to call around to find one for me literally as I was driving south
