I was considering a 7 das vacation at the Hotel Raito and Vietri sul mare.

Do you know Raito? A twin wrote it is dangerous but I want to go. I've been looking at this place since December 2016. Now I said to myself it is time to spend $$$$$ an go.

I am pondering the relevance of it being a "twin" that told you this. LOL

Anyways I stayed in nearby Salerno as I remember and must have walked 2 miles to the train station in the middle of the night, it was not dangerous at all. This was about a decade ago.

Naples, the almost literal armpit of Italy, is what you want to avoid.

It is amazing. It would stay in Positano. The view is out of this world!

If you stay in Positano, try to stay on the East side of town looking west. I stayed at Alberto California and Alcione Residence, same view as LA Sirenuse but 1/5 the price. You wouldn't believe your eyes when you wake up and open the window!

I'm also doing research on the Amalfi Coast and it just seems like the easiest thing to do is to land in Naples and just head to the coast?
