While I've sworn never to ever ride Greyhound again, I was doing a relative a favor by buying her a ticket. Little did I know that Greyhound charges you an extra $18 per ticket if you're buying for someone else and paying by credit card, supposedly to prevent fraud Biggest money grab from a travel company that I've ever seen. And I'm STILL waiting on a confirmation email from them with the ticket; they had no problem charging my credit card and I've already called twice about the email. What the heck is going on with this company??

We use Greyhound a couple of times a year (for transport to SF) and have ever had any problems. But we've never tried to buy tickets for anyone else.

Didn't you see a total amount on the checkout page? If you didn't like the fee, you didn't have to pay it.

Of course I didn't have to pay it. I'm just annoyed that the company has the nerve to charge such a fee to begin with.
