We are going to beirut next week.3 day holiday. We understand that there some political issues in Lebanon and some countries have travel advisories for their citizens visiting. But I work with lebanese colleagues and they say great things about the city and country.

Has anyone traveled there recently?

I have family who went there last year, they had a great time. Beirut is nice but IIRC the highlights of their trip were old Byblos (Jbeil) and the countryside (mountains and wild valleys, not sure where). Have a nice trip!
