When was the last time you fell off a sidewalk -- with handrails?

I wouldn't do it, just because the useless bridge wold be too boring to walk across (and back again), and you probably have to pay an admission charge (steeper than the scenery) to do it.

Well if your intent is hiking the trail then the bridge is just part of it. I doubt there is an admission, it's a bridge along a hiking route.

Looks like it saves a lot of dangerous hiking across a rock slide.

Seems fine on a non windy day, I would do the Swiss bridge before I try the China version, tho both would be nice.

If I were to travel on a long pedestrian suspension bridge at the very least it would be one built by the Swiss.

On the other hand, one in India or Kenya for instance...I think I would pass.

Only a quarter mile, 5 minutes to cross at a regular walking pace.

There is an alternate route up the other side of the valley, with lots of exposure with a few cables in particularly exciting bits.
