Kids will be kids...

Get a truckload of big boxes (refrigerator / range / couch / chairs)

build them a CITY!!! Their OWN city!

then (after 4 months of filling your home = summer arrives and kids head outdoors......)

a very LARGE bonfire! (or 'recycle' your (their) city)

Our kids LOVED to paint their cardboard box 'cities'

We 'remodeled' often (changed configuration / windows / shutters added slides / obstacles...) with LED's it will be MUCH safer to wire in the lights! I just picked up a 'Christmas Closeout' ($3) LED kaleidoscope that would have delighted the kids. (if installed inside one of their 'free' cities)!
