So...since the summer is over (Labor Day ends my summer), my 2018 summer travel was mostly domestic cities/town but still fantastic! I noticed that a lot of posters traveled abroad. I hope to go abroad next year. For summer 2018, I went to:

Burlington, VT
Boston, MA
Detroit, MI
Lake George, NY
Las Vegas, NV
Montreal, Quebec Canada
Niagara Fall, Ontario Canada
A small town in Oklahoma
Waco, TX

2019 is coming up. We plan to visit the mountainous area of Slovenia and then move down to Croatia to a beach place, or perhaps in Montenegro.

Our plans are solidifying for 2019 as well.

We'll be here in Thailand until mid March, then spend a few weeks each in China and Malaysia, by then should be warm enough for Europe. Six weeks in Portugal, then six weeks in Poland. Probably moving back to either Mexico or Colombia at end of summer 2019.

Didn't end up doing the Philippines and Singapore, but did do Guam and Malaysia. I really enjoyed my time in Malaysia and would go back in a heartbeat.

My plans haven't changed. 10 days doing Rome/Florence/Venice the first full week of May avoiding May 1. My girlfriend has never been to Italy so we're doing the basic "everyone does it" trip for the first one. Summer is using the sailboat, using the private beach membership, and bicycling. We try to telecommute and do 4 or 5 nights per week at the summer house if work doesn't intrude.
