Newfoundland was my best vacation ever. You will love it there!

As others have mentioned, I don't understand summer vacations. You get so much more enjoyment and bang for your buck by traveling between Labor Day and June 1st.

Late June/early July: Aruba then Quito, Ecuador (probably 5 days each)

November: Maybe 7-10 days in Hawaii. Mostly Oahu for my mom's birthday but hoping to get her to either Kauai (been once before) or Maui (never been) for the first few days of the trip.

Late August/earlySeptember: ?
^Thinking of revisiting somewhere in Europe. Maybe Portugal or Paris.

Small chance of going to Tokyo for work in the summer probably...thinking of stopping in Seoul if that happens (or maybe extending my time in Japan[?]).

Anddddd....I just realized you asked for summer plans so ignore the above November plans.

We might do a few days at the beach in the summer. We always travel and not take our dog and he's getting up there in age and would want to do at least one trip with him this year.

As for Fall, still trying to plan that out. We just got a town house so while $ isn't tight, we have to plan it out more strategically. I think we're doing a combination of Greece (Mykonos, day trip to Delos and maybe another island) and then Italy (Milan for a day or two, wife wants to go to Florence for outlet shopping). I'm waiting to see if Emirates will have their 2 for 1 deal in the Spring.

We don't have any plans yet, but tend not to travel far during the busy summer holidays. We live a mile from the beach in San Diego so we spend a lot of our time there in the summer. We will probably do a trip up to the central coast of California for a long weekend, but otherwise we enjoy our summers at home and traveling during off season.

3 nights in southern Maine in late June (Kennebunkport, Ogunquit, Portland).

6 nights in Quebec City in August, with a stopover for 1 night in Burlington/Shelburne, Vermont. Looking forward to both.

Going to Michigan in July for a wedding (one of my girlfriends friends is getting married), then we're going to Washington state in August to scope out some places to retire (4 more years!). Also plan on doing a lot of hiking and some fishing too. The really big trip is in December when we go to Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama and Cartagena Columbia with a few days in San Diego also.

I like this trifecta. It sounds like an organized travel tour with so many days in each country. Is that right?

Had to google Bimini. I'd heard of it but didn't know where it was. I initially thought Siesta Key was a part of Key West, FL but it's not.
