Those are "stay at home, avoid the psycho crowds" dates for me.

My big trip this year is a 5~6 week road trip starting the Sept 26 and going through Oct 31-ish. And I just got back from 3 weeks skiing in Montana.

Both this year and next are UK-only for me. I'm trying to visit places and areas I've not seen much of in the past before I can retire from full-time work in 2020. So this year I have at least one 2-day trip to South Wales planned for next month, followed by one to Norfolk and Suffolk (East Anglia). Several day trips planned too - Galloway, in Scotland; East Yorkshire; Oxfordshire; South West Wales. Lots to plan and look forward to.

Newfoundland Canada 2 weeks, for the 1st time. Will drive through Nova Scotia to catch a ferry to Newfoundland, have been to NS 5 times in the past, will drive from Pa to NS.

Prince Edward Island 2 weeks, our go to place to relax, been going to the island since 1985 beautiful place.

We have been to all 50 states and with this trip to 9 Canadian provinces. 2019 Australia and New Zealand for 2 months for our 40th wedding anniversary. Retirement a wonderful thing, work is SO overrated!

I'm traveling with family on some of those trips and those are the travel months that work best for all involved.

I've been to Wales and loved it. Scotland is on the list for my next trip to UK. Enjoy!
