I notified Google Maps of a mistake that has resulted in people trying to trespass through our property despite posted signs and a gate. Everybody claimed that “Google maps say so.” After Google verified what I told them (they checked legal records), eventually the number of “But my navigation device says to go this way!” insisters went way down.
But just now I encountered someone who says Apple maps told him to go that way. I told him No You Don’t. The directions didn’t even make any freaking sense, given how far away he was from his target address. Then I looked at Apple maps and found that they have a very, very old mistake showing. So much for “Digital maps are the most current!”
I sent Apple a correction notice. Are there other digital maps that should be checked and fixed?

I use Maps.me (worldwide). Uses GPS (but China has been a problem with any mapping software looking for a Google resource...) download BEFORE you go, if you will be out of cell range. really helpful 'historic sites / places of interest'
(Campermate while in NZ) a really great app!
