Neither (edit, though I guess active fits... the poll is different from the intro). I primarily travel to do nature photography (international) or music festivals (domestic). I feel like relaxing is something I can do at home and is wasted time when somewhere else.
If I were to vote it would be active because I tend to keep moving. My primary reason for travel is new scenery, whether it is nature or cultivated gardens, cities or villages (my favorite).
As for relaxing you could say I travel to the smokies to sit by "my" creek but that is just an hour away so it's not like a vacation I have to plan.
I leaned toward "Active" but it's really a split of both for me. I almost always stay in a cabin of sorts in the woods nearby some trails and go hiking just about everyday for at least an hour but usually 2 to 3 hours sometimes longer. Then I will go home and read for the rest of the time to relax.
My answer would be Yes because we are busy in our regular life in which we have to work throughout the year and if we found some vocations to move or travel somewhere that would be a refreshment for us.
If we are travelling on somewhere which is new for us than we should learn something new from them as a source of information.Because every place like museum and cultural buildings if we visit we learn about the history of these buildings.
This is the reason people used to say they learn something new whenever they travel somewhere at first time either its a city or country
I like to learn something new but alas its a long time ago I haven't learned anything new of my choice.
