We just want some time away from the cold and snow, plus we help your economy. Before 911, we used to see so many US cars and trucks and RV's from the southern States up in Canada during the summer, and we welcomed them. We certainly STILL welcome them

911 changed so much of the world and I hate to say that the terrorism accomplished this but it did. Our borders and border laws are so much more strict. It's sad. For a while after 911, soldiers were going through our trunks to see if we had guns, bombs or were smuggling terrorists when we crossed into the states.

I can't even count the times I've come across this, mostly in the southern states.
