Do you ask what type of airplane you will be flying on? (airline, airport)

I really do believe Boeing will get to the bottom of their 737-Max jets. I have all confidence in the airline industry, especially in the USA. Are some of you savvy flyers? Do you check out the type of plane you will be flying on?
No, I don't ask. I KNOW what airplane I will be flying when I am reserving my seat. I am particular about where I sit but don't care about the plane type. Most of the times, I don't have a choice anyway.
I don't think that confidence has anything to do with the type of airplane.
I note it when I’m picking out seats and one of the reasons why I prefer Delta is that they fly mainline service to my wee home airport and I prefer a long in the tooth MD-88 to tiny regional jets that get nicknamed things like ‘The Devil’s Chariot’ (CRJ-200) or ‘Barbie’s Dream Jet’ by frequent flyers.
Once you get into the bigger regional jets like a CRJ-900 I’m less picky and don’t mind something like a 757 transatlantic
Yes, I always check. I will always prefer a twin-aisle plane over a single-aisle plane for any flight of any length, so if a twin-aisle plane is available on the trip I am planning on taking, a competing single-aisle flight will have to have a strong advantage in price or timing for me to forego the bigger plane.
Of course, lots of times I don't have any choice in the matter. If I'm flying Southwest, I know that I will be flying on a 737 of some type.

It's nice to know when booking on Kayak.com. I frequently book travel via the iPhone app and enjoy knowing what I'll be on. (Tells me whether I will have Wi-Fi and the option to upgrade to first class (or not in either case, if one leg is via a regional jet).
