I asked this in the Smart Phone forum and wanted to also ask here....

In May, I'm going to Alaska and will be doing a zip lining excursion. I need to capture the zip line on video, as it is the largest and longest zip line in the world. I want to video the experience either by phone or camera, however, I need some sort of device to mount the phone to me, as the ZipRider will reach speeds of 65mph. I'm unsure if I should use my iPhone XR or rent a GoPro. Thoughts?

Also, if you want to see it, it's called ZipRider at Icy Strait Point.

I think I'd leave my $800 phone safely on the ground. Go for a decent used GoPro on eBay for a couple hundred.

After your trip, you can list it back on eBay and make back most (if not all) of your money. Or keep it for future use.

No brainer; GoPro with a chest or head mount. I like the eBay suggestion above. Buy and then resell rather than rent.
