An airline passenger's video of a man punching the back of her seat sparked an online debate: Is it OK to recline when sitting in economy?
Wendi Williams said on Twitter that she was on an American Airlines flight from New Orleans to Charlotte, North Carolina, when she decided to put her seat in the recline position.
The man behind her responded by repeatedly punching her seat, she wrote.
If the seat in front of you can recline then expect it to do so and accept everyone has the right to recline except at meal times when others must access all the tray space.
This guy was acting like a man-child throwing a tantrum.
I'm not one who reclines on planes, but I don't see how she's rude to use a feature that is provided to her. If she's not supposed to recline, why would the airlines have reclining seats?
I find it amusing that in these brouhahas over nothing the complainant always has a severe medical condition that surely would have been aggravated by a rough landing -- and yet, they fly.
That guy pounded the seat. I usually position my knee directly into their seat back which usually solves the problem instantly!
Ditto!
