I like Disney World (haven't been to Disneyland) but I'm curious what the rest of you think.

I haven't even read through the list, but we've never gone. The price, the crowds, the long lines, the kids. . . all good reasons to keep us away. (especially the first three)

Wish there was a true off season for Disney.

Someone's a little bitter. Looks to me like they were trying to come up with something to write about and they were getting paid by the word. It all comes down to #1 ... if you hate Disney, why would you even consider it? Why would you even bother reading the article?

The rest of it isn't news to anyone. Know your budget, know your threshold when it comes to crowds, and decide if it's for you or not. I haven't had a problem with any of the reasons listed.

I haven't had these problems either. I found the last one strange. Why would you do to Disney World if you hated Disney? You wouldn't go to the reptile exhibit in a zoo if you hated snakes.

I enjoy it once a year or so. Lately I have gone to the Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom. Allowed to enter at 4pm for $65 ticket and by 7:30pm ALL the lines are very short. It is a lot of fun.

I got to Disneyland every 2-3 years. Try to go when its not too busy, but I am in LA at random times of the year. I like Disneyland due to its nice weather and never being too crowded.

I recently also was in Hong Kong Disneyland which was interesting, small, not crowded and cheap compared to anything else. I was also at Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea which is actually not owned by Disney just franchised out. Place was packed!! Crazy the amount of people there on a Thursday in Febuary! But it was fun, and I have now been to every Disney Park in the world but one, the Disney Studio in Paris. And Shanghai is getting something in 2015ish.

Overall I enjoy it once a year. Just need to know the right time of the year to go. And Florida residents can get some good deals.

We went to Disney-
I thought it was overrated.
Insanely expensive, crowded
& just not my cup of tea.
A vacation to me means relaxation-
Disney was not at all relaxing, lol
If & when I ever go back
to Florida, it'll be all about me on a beach
with a margarita or 3..... & a good book

I don't get it at all . Obviously the author hated Disney. Yes, it can be pricey, but there are ways to get savings. As for crowds...there are times of the year where the crowds are thin.

Either you like the idea of a theme park vacation, or you don't. Someone going there thinking it would be relaxing (such as a beach vacation) , well that is just dumb. It's a theme park.

If you're referring to my post,
you're totally ignorant.
I went for kids to have fun- not for myself.
Fyi, I wasn't comparing Disney
to a beach vacation.
I was stating my preference.

Someone needs to tell Viral Travel they illustrated a story about Disney parks with a photo of the Disney Concert Hall. Which is 30 miles from Disneyland.

Oops.
