Planning on a trip up to Montreal and Quebec City this summer. We spend a week every summer camping in the Adirondacks, and usually a week out on the Cape as well.

Summer’s great around here, so we don’t go too far. Will take the kids to Acadia National Park for the first time. Then in late summer will do the beaches in southern Maine (I’ve gone every year since 1980); then the White Mountains of NH (first time with the kids).

Outside of the travel for work nothing much. I might have some extended little mini trip from work travel, but more than likely just chill.

My "big" travel will be in the fall. In early October I'll be heading to Utah more than likely.

Yes. I did post on your other thread.
I am going to visit my Homeland, but I won't stay there all the time. I will travel around.
I know every country in Europe, except GB. But I am planning to take a ferry and visit Scandinavia again . Love the cold, hope to catch the sight of Aurora, see fjords, some snow.
Other than that... I don't know. I have EU passport. Will put some clothes in my trunk, fill the car and just go. That's my kind of vacation. No tourist paths. No big planning . No fancy hotels.
If I manage to get a cabin in a cargo ship, I might take a cruise. My best ever cruises were on cargo ships, but has been a while.

Plenty of restaurants. Don't go to a chain place while you're there. Real good seafood place that I can't remember the name of right now.

Not sure if the National Enquirer museum will be open when you go (or when I go for that matter) but that's something new coming to the area that looks interesting, at least once.

If you like antiques.. Lord, there's a shop on every corner.

And if you get sick of it all.. There's a casino over in Maggie Valley.

Thanks. Not sure any of that will appeal to us, but thank you. We don't do chains anyway. We are researching hikes still.

I'd love to go to Montreal for a long weekend, but I don't think I'm going to be able to swing it.

We're going to NYC for a weekend, then I'm going to Guatemala for 9 days with one of my sons, driving to DC to drop off my other son with my parents, then after I come back, we're going to the Outer Banks in NC.

After that, we'll have about 2 weeks until school starts.

AS I said, there's something for everyone. You can go into the forest and hike.. There's Dollywood.. There's the new suspension bridge that's just opened.

Even though I don't overly care for the place.. I'll be happy going there and just sitting on the porch/deck of the cabin we rent.
