Do you think that Pakistan will become a big tourist destination in the next few years along the lines of India, Nepal, the Maldives, and the United Arab Emirates as the security situation in Pakistan has improved and a loosening of visa requirements is taking place.

I have my own personal list of Places I would like to go; Places I would like to go but only if it were safe enough; Places I would like to go to again; and Places I would be happy to go to if someone would pay me to attend a conference there.

Pakistan is not on any of those lists.

Pretty much cut and paste the exact same responses we have for your exact same question on Saudi Arabia:
Tourism in Saudi Arabia

except add a state department high risk travel advisory

Not on mine either. But I think I did see a Globe Trekker episode there some years ago and unless the infrastructure has improved there, I doubt the amount tourists will grow there.

Agree, see the answers in your prior post about Saudi Arabia.

Can we ask, what is the purpose of these questions, especially as it relates to areas of the world that may be under heightened scrutiny/security concerns?

Also curious as to why you post these and other questions yet dont return with a rebuttal. Are these some sort of research or are you just trying to get a reaction, good or bad?
