What bothers me is the reclining. I have maybe a foot in front of me, and inconsiderate people still insist on reclining all the way back while I am trying to eat my meal on the little tray. It's impossible.

(And yes.....when this happened I nicely asked if he could sit up more until I finished eating, he refused.)

What's worse is if you're working on a laptop and someone slams their seat back. I've almost lost a couple computers that way. Then I have to work with the screen pulled forward, which is almost impossible.

One time I decided to try explaining to the gentleman in front of me that I would be working on my laptop behind him and asking if he could please warn me if he wanted to recline. He didn't.

Neither one bothers me personally. I'm neither fat nor tall. But I don't think it's right the way airlines take advantage of tall passengers to nickel and dime them into paying for more expensive seats. Paying more for the emergency exit row seat is unreasonable.

I'm usually not bothered by either, but there have been times when one or the other was an issue. Not sure what reply that should generate from me.

My rear fits into a standard economy seat just fine; my problem is that I’m a broad-shouldered broad and those shoulders are often wider that the seat back is. I’m also a leggy 5’9” so leg space is a concern.

Hmm, I am 5'9 and skinny-average sized. I am actually perfectly comfortable with the space on all airlines I've been on. (hard seats and lack of recline would be the primary complaints)

So, in this instance I would have to say narrow seats, because that would exacerbate any issues with the person next to me potentially infringing on my space.

I am a unique size, just over 6' but with a longer torso. Leg room is never a problem, ha.

But I can't help but feel that the seat backs are a hard plastic cup (a very tight C shape) with a cushion the thickness of your average airport bus. Not much.

I feel like my back is curled into a question mark by the end of a flight, and have sworn off economy class going forward.

Yeah, for the plane, but wait until you need something off a high shelf in a supermarket, then you're gonna be looking for me!
