$7 per litre, Americans you are lucky to pay the prices that you do and yet you all still complain.

Prices are creeping back up, even though oil is still under $40/bar.

Super unleaded is about $1.95/gal. in N. TX. Regular unleaded is about 30 cents less per gal.

WOW!!! That's really high
I thought Finland was expensive with the $1.70 / liter (it used to be up to $2.15 / liter) but now I stand corrected. Scotland is waaay more expensive.

England is more expensive as is Ireland. We're the cheapest in the U.K but too damn expensive for my liking

Was paying $1.32 gal. about a month ago, now up to $1.99. I have a feeling one of the new changes we may get is a higher gas tax in the coming year though.

I'm not sure what the actual price is, but I believe that it is in the $1.80 range.

USA vs UK Price comparison of car litre or gallon petrol, unleaded, diesel, lpg and tax fuel duty

Currently UK petrol is at the lowest about 80p per liter - there are 3.78 litres per US gallon - which is c.3 GBP or $4.45 per US gallon.

About 80% of that is tax http://www.petrolprices.com/fuel-tax.html in a large part due to a Conservative govt plan introduced in 1993 as an attempt to reduce pollution by discouraging car driving.
