Any good price comparison site? (cruise, best, hotel, hotels)

Hi all, we are going to Venice for a trip, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. To enjoy this trip we are looking for a good site providing hotel price comparison. Do you guys know any good online resource? With the help of which, we can compare hotels according to their prices and rates. Hope you guys will help us.

It really depends on your price range. There is Cheap Flights, Airline Tickets, Cheap Airfare & Discount Travel Deals - Kayak.com which links the major travel sites so you see them all. The Italians are pretty lame about offering discounts on these sites though. The independent moderate size hotels will list, but never actually have a place available. But the smaller ones are Hotels, hotel reservations, from luxury to cheap hotels - venere.com and Dormire Italia, B&B, Alberghi, Agriturismi e Case Vacanze - BBPlanet.it

Be careful on these sites in that they might be 40 miles away and still say they are in Venice.

If you are a budget traveler, just cheap or traveling with a large family and are staying a few days, consider looking at craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums and rent an apartment.

A little late reply but maybe a nice tip for other users.Lately we use EasyHotelPrice.com and until now every time we got the lowest price.It looks like a search engine that directs you to the cheapest site to book.

Late indeed... But, one of my favorite sites for checking out hotels is Trip Advisor dot com. I did a cruise from Venice a few years ago, and found a very lovely affordable hotel. Dot
